Cotton poplin skirt in the Majolica print — the multicoloured ceramic-tile pattern from the Sicilian tradition that Dolce&Gabbana returns to as one of its most defining references. The construction here is built entirely around movement: pleats and gathering release from the yoke into a skirt that already has volume before the hem, and then the gathered flounce at the bottom edge — cut with a handkerchief hem that rises and dips with the fabric — adds a second layer of movement that turns every step into something the print can travel through. The straight waistband closes at the centre front with a zip, an internal elastic adjuster at the back gives the fit its precision without a visible mechanism on the exterior, and the lined yoke sits clean against the body at the top.
